Infinite MMA Ballarat Reopens Nearly a Year After Devastating Arson Attack
Ballarat, VIC – Infinite MMA in Ballarat is set to reopen on Monday, April 28, 2025, nearly a year after a devastating arson attack left the gym badly damaged.
The popular martial arts facility, known for producing some of Australia’s top emerging MMA talent, has spent months rebuilding and is now ready to welcome back its community with a brand-new look and renewed spirit.
Gym to Welcome Back Members on April 28, 2025
Infinite MMA has confirmed that all programs for current and past members will resume from Monday, 28 April 2025.
To ease the transition, membership fees will not recommence until Monday, 5 May 2025, giving members an additional week to return without financial pressure.
The gym’s announcement on social media expressed their excitement to open the doors once again, inviting everyone back to “see you on the mat!”
Firebombing Came After Major Career Milestone for Harry Webb
The arson attack occurred on the same night Infinite MMA announced that rising Australian MMA star Harry Webb had signed an exclusive five-fight, 12-month deal with Eternal MMA, one of Australia’s premier MMA promotions.
Two individuals reportedly forced entry into the gym and used accelerants to ignite the fire, which caused significant damage to the reception area and widespread smoke damage throughout the building.
The attack was a shocking moment for the Ballarat sporting community, especially given the timing with Webb's career milestone.
